Tim Terese

LTC (R) TIMOTHY A. TERESE, US Army

Mr. Terese graduated from Plano Senior High School in Plano, TX where he played baseball and
participated in Army JROTC. He decided the Army was his career path and attended The Citadel, The
Military College of South Carolina where he earned an Army ROTC Scholarship and was awarded a
Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with Foreign Policy. He participated in the Cordell Ranger Tactics
Club, Ranger Challenge competition team, and attended US Army Airborne School and then later Cadet
Troop Leadership Training in Vicenza, Italy. Also, while at The Citadel, he held rank as Company Clerk,
Squad Corporal, Cadre Sergeant, Platoon Sergeant, and Cadre Platoon Leader as well as earning
Commandants List for all four years. Later, he also earned a Master of Arts in International Relations
from Webster University as is a nationally certified recruiter from Lean Human Capital.
Mr. Terese then entered Active Duty as an Infantry Officer and served across the Army in the 82 nd
Airborne Division, 3 rd Infantry Division, 2 nd Infantry Division, and 7 th Infantry Division for operational
assignments, and served as an Assistant Professor of Military Science at The Citadel Army ROTC
Department and with the Mission Command Training Program at Fort Leavenworth, KS responsible for
training Division and Corps staffs during warfighter exercises. His combat deployments include the
invasion into Iraq during OPERATION IRAQI FREEDOM from Kuwait to Baghdad in 2003 and again in
OPERATION IRAQI FREEDOM in Sadr City, Baghdad in 2005. Later, he deployed to OPERATION
ENDURING FREEDOM to Zharay District/ Horn of Panjwai in the Kandahar Province, Afghanistan in 2012.
Currently, he serves as the Recruiting Operations Officer for the Palmetto Battalion, Army ROTC, The
Citadel-College of Charleston-Charleston Southern University.
His Military Awards and Recognition include three Bronze Stars for combat operations, US Army Ranger,
Combat Infantry Badge, Combat Action Badge, Expert Infantry Badge, Senior Parachutist/ Jumpmaster,
Italian, Tunisia, Canadian, and Venezuelan Foreign Parachutist Badges, the German Marksmanship and
Proficiency badges, Presidential, Meritorious and Superior Unit Citations, was the 1 st Brigade, Army
Cadet Command Recruiting Officer of the Year and recipient of The Citadel Board of Visitors
Achievement Award. He sits as a Board of Director and Life Member of The Citadel Alumni Association,
Executive Committee and Life Member of Coastal SC Association of the United States Army, Board of
Director for the Palmetto Military Support Group, Charleston-area Leader of US Army Ranger
Association, and Life Members National Infantry Association, Order of St. Maurice recipient and Cavalry
and Armor Association, Order of St. George recipient.
He is married LTC Nadine Terese, US Army with 2 children Zach and Emma.
