Paula Callahan

Executive Director for the CDCA

Paula Callahan currently serves as Executive Director for CDCA, a role she assumed in 2022. As such, she works closely with the Board of Directors. Paula manages a wide range of activities for the organization, including finance, membership, operations and event planning.

Wearing many hats is nothing new for Paula. Prior to her current role, she served as CDCA’s Operations Executive, held administrative positions in elementary and higher education, as well as collegiate athletics. Paula received her bachelor’s degree in physical education from the College of Charleston in 1995.

Paula is especially passionate about working within the defense industry and supporting the military and veterans. Her son is currently serving in the United States Air Force Reserves; her father, father-in-law and mother-in-law served in the United States Navy; her grandfather served in the Army; and many others in her family have served. Paula’s husband, daughter and stepson are Defense Contractors. She is deeply committed to supporting the warfighter and their families.

Paula is a proud to be a Wing Mom and to have come from a long line of military. She was selected as an Honorary Commander for the 628th Air Base Wing Contracting Squadron in 2022 and is in her first year as a Board of Director with the Palmetto Military Support Group.
