Daniel is a first generation American, born to immigrant parents from Guatemala. Born in Lynn,
MA, Daniel has a strong affinity for all major sports teams from the New England area, despite
living in Texas for the majority of his life. Daniel grew up playing sports with his three brothers,
managing to play varsity soccer in high school and then four years at a small Division III school
in Longview, Texas, LeTourneau University.
In 2009, Daniel enlisted in the Navy and served his country in support of Operation Iraqi
Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom. Daniel completed over 72 combat missions during
his time as a junior enlisted member of the Navy. In 2014, Daniel moved to Charleston, SC for
recruiting duty where he received numerous awards among being named the Special Warfare
Recruiter of The Year for Raleigh District in 2017.
After completing eight years in the Navy, Daniel was fortunate to transition to a career in sales
as an Account Executive with the Charleston RiverDogs, ultimately taking his talents across the
bridge to the Charleston Battery in 2021.
Daniel is now owner and operator of Big Waves Power Washing Co., a local pressure washing
company specializing in residential and commercial exterior washing.
