Erica Wright

Regional Government Relations Director, Charleston Metro Chamber of Commerce

Erica serves as the Senior Director of Government Relations for the Charleston Metro Chamber of Commerce. In this role, she works with elected officials to advance the Chamber’s local advocacy agenda in the City of North Charleston, Town of Mount Pleasant, City of Goose Creek, City of Hanahan and Dorchester County.
 
Prior to this role, Erica served as director of Charleston Young Professionals, a regional initiative designed to build community leaders through professional development, business connections and community engagement.
 
Erica is a recipient of Charleston Regional Business Journal’s Forty Under 40 award, a Furman University Riley Institute Fellow, a former Honorary Commander at Joint Base Charleston and a graduate of Leadership Charleston. Charleston Business Magazine also named her one of the 50 Most Influential People of 2017.
 
She holds a Bachelors in Integrated Marketing Communications from Winthrop University and a Master of Business Administration from The Citadel.
